As a small online store, your name is added to every order that we manufacture and we do our best to exceed our customers' expectations. 

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return or exchange the product within 10 days of the date of delivery, with the necessary proof of purchase.

If the product is in its described condition (excl. Upholstery)

  • Please wrap the item(s) in their original packaging to prepare them for their journey back to us.
  • We will arrange for a courier to collect the item(s) - please print the waybill that we send you.
  • Once we are satisfied with the condition of the item, you will be refunded via your original method of payment or have the option to exchange your item.
  • You will be responsible for all delivery fees (there and back) and a 10% handling fee of the order/item total.

If the product is damaged or faulty

  • Goods received in a faulty or damaged condition will happily be exchanged or refunded via your original method of payment, free of charge
  • Please send us a few photos of the item so we can improve on our service: info@acrestudio.co.za
  • Wrap the item(s) in their original packaging to prepare them for their journey back to us.
  • We will arrange for a courier to collect the item(s) - please print the waybill that we send you.
  • Courier Fees are non-refundable

Upholstery Returns and cancellations

Stock orders (off the showroom floor) can be cancelled or returned one time within 48 hours from date of sale. There is no option to cancel or modify custom (orders where the item has been made to order) orders, and special (development and or/once off items) orders cannot be returned.

Return/Cancellation credits after 48 hours from date of sale will be issued in the form of store credit, less applicable restocking, delivery, and pick up fees.

All returns must be received in original condition and made within 10 days from delivery.

Upon receipt of the return and item inspection, refund determination will be based on the item purchase price only.

Custom and sale orders

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of sale or custom items. 

FURNITURE STATUTORY WARRANTY

All Acre Studio products carry a 6 month  warranty from date of purchase.
Our furniture warranty is subject to generally accepted care and
maintenance of the product.

Acre Studio will only be liable to honour a warranty if:

The defect existed at the time of delivery or collection and manifested during the warranty period;

The defect did not arise due to normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse by the customer;
The product concerned is used for the purpose intended and in a domestic environment (Unless the latter requirement is waived by Acre Studio in writing); i.e. commercial use is not warranted;
The customer duly complied with the Acre Studio Care Instructions available online;
The customer provides the original invoice;
The product is assembled by Acre Studio or by the customer in accordance with the suppliers’ specifications.

Acre Studio warranty provides for the free repair or replacement of any faulty component within the warranty period.
The product is reasonably suitable for the purpose that it was generally intended for;
The product is of good quality, free of defects and in good working order and;
The product will be durable and usable for a reasonable period of time.

Extended Warranty

After the six month statutory warranty has expired, all furniture products have an extended warranty. All furniture products have an extended warranty of 1 year, being a further 6 (six) months from the end of the statutory warranty. For further details on each product warranty please see the Acre Studio Care Instructions online.

It is entirely at Acre Studio’ discretion to offer the necessary remedy, being either repair, replace or store credit, should your product breach the extended warranty. In addition, Acre Studio will charge necessary collection and delivery costs in certain circumstances.
